Different types of water filtration plants that are used in the water industry will be discussed in depth as well as proper operations of those filters focusing specifically on the math required to run Conventional and Direct Water Filtration plants. Description: This course is designed to provide you with some basic knowledge of leak detection practices and correlation methods. Students will be instructed in the basics and background theory of leak detection to better utilize basic correlation techniques for distribution and collection systems. A variety of equipment will be demonstrated and used to aid students in accurately pinpointing leaks in all types of pipe materials.

Description: This class will be a real-world discussion utilizing a diagram of an actual water treatment facility to give attendees the knowledge necessary to test for their level 3 and 4 Water Treatment and Distribution Certification as well as their Filter Endorsement. Different types of water filtration plants that are used in the water industry will be discussed in depth as well as proper operations of those filters focusing specifically on the math required to run Conventional and Direct Water Filtration plants. The math required to install, bring into service, and operate the Distribution systems served by these Water Filtration Plants will also be discussed.
