For those who want to earn extra CEUs, register for one of the Monday sessions. For more information, see the Monday Pre-Conference Schedule on page 3 and registration page.Tuesday–Thursday, October 6-8, 2026 Full Conference Classes, CEUs and Meals. Tuesday-Thursday includes a variety of concurrent classes available with the ability to earn up to 2.0 Water or Wastewater CEUs. For specific CEUs possible, please see the full conference class schedule. Full conference meals include Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday lunch.

Description: This class will be a real-world discussion utilizing a diagram of an actual water treatment facility to give attendees the knowledge necessary to test for their level 3, 4, Water Treatment, Distribution Certification, as well as Filter Endorsement. Different types of water filtration plants that are used in the water industry will be discussed in depth as well as proper operations of those filters focusing specifically on the math required to run Conventional and Direct Water Filtration plants. The math required to install, bring into service, and operate the Distribution systems served by these Water Filtration Plants will also be discussed.

Description: This two-day course will provide specific information needed to help prepare for the Wastewater Treatment and/or Wastewater Collections certification exams. A practice exam with answers will be provided to each attendee. Review will include pretreatment, basic math, trickling filters, RBC, basic activated sludge, lagoons, wastewater disinfection, sludge digestion, solids handling, and lab procedures.
