Clackamas River Water
Seeking a full time Senior Water Works Mechanic responsible for providing technical expertise in the unique components and characteristics that make up the water distribution system. Oversees and ensures all activities of the Waterworks Mechanics are performed accurately and safely in compliance May be required to directly perform the full range of waterworks mechanic duties. Executes a variety of administrative and project management activities Review project designs for constructability.
High school diploma or GED, possess an Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Drinking Water Program Water Distribution Operator (WDO) Water Distribution Level 3 Certification with the ability to obtain a Level 4 Certification within two (2) years from date of hire or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Demonstrated experience in a lead role or as program coordinator for at least two areas common to water system construction and distribution maintenance programs.
Possession or ability to obtain, from date of hire, a CDL Class A license within 18 months and Cross Connection Control Specialist certification within 12 months are also required.
Pay Rate: $34.00-$43.87
