Water & Wastewater Field Operations & Safety     8am – 12:15pm

Cost: $125 for Members / $160 for Non-Members

CEUs: 0.4 Water/WW  CEUs     ESAC #3568

Description: Learn equipment installation, operations and maintenance, testing, disinfecting facilities, excavation safety and confined space, water sampling and lab, chemical safety, wells, tanks, and water treatment basics.  Water and wastewater office responsibilities, writing policies and procedures, project management, and other basic requirements relating to running a water or wastewater system.

Instructor: Scott Berry, OAWU Personal

Job Site Safety  1:15 – 4:30

Cost: $90 for Members / $110 for Non-Members

CEUs: 0.3 Water/WW/OS  CEUs    ESAC #TBA

Description: Discuss the overall approach to key elements of a strong health and safety program, reviewing the psychology side of management and employee’s responsibilities. Overview of topics for both routine and non- routine tasks associated with risk, and how to practically expand safety programs to mitigate such risks.

Cost for Both Classes: $180 for Members / $230 for Non-Members
