Pumps & Pumping
Time: 1 pm – 4:15 pm

Cost: $110 for Members / $160 for Non-Members
Description: This three-hour course details the types of pumps used in the water and wastewater field. We will review the types of pumps used for different applications, their efficiencies, what type of maintenance is required, and basic water and wastewater system hydraulics.

Description: This two-day course will provide specific information needed to help prepare for the Wastewater Treatment and/or Wastewater Collections certification exams. A practice exam with answers will be provided to each attendee. Review will include pretreatment, basic math, trickling filters, RBC, basic activated sludge, lagoons, wastewater disinfection, sludge digestion, solids handling, and lab procedures.
