Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator – Full-Time. City of Mill City. The City of Mill City seeks a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our Public Works Department as a Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator for our brand new SBR facility….it’s the freshest around! Position plays a key role in the start-up of the new WWTF, expected completion December 2026– first flush honors! Supports safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the WWTF, collections system, lift stations, and stormwater system. Minimum high school or equivalent education. Preference given to persons with Associates degrees in related fields. Applicant must either possess or be reasonably able to obtain Wastewater Treatment II within 1 year of employment. Wastewater Collection certification desirable. Must have valid ODL. FTE-40 hours/wk. Salary range $57,204 to $75,264 annually DOE. Competitive health, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Relocation assistance may be available. Must reside within 40 miles of Mill City and be able to respond to after-hours calls.
