MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience requirements listed are minimum standards. Other equivalent combinations of education, certifications, training, and experience may be considered.
Operator I
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Prior work experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols in construction work environments and/or heavy equipment use.
Operator II
- Public sector infrastructure operations and maintenance for a local/county/state government or as a private contractor for public system operations and maintenance.
- Oregon DEQ Wastewater Treatment I, Collections I Certification, Oregon Health Authority Water Distribution System certification or commitment to obtain one or more within twelve (12) months upon hiring.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
