AUTHORITY MANAGER

Pacific City Joint Water-Sanitary Authority

Pacific City, Oregon

Salary: $115,000 – $150,000

 

PCJWSA is a publicly owned water and wastewater special district governed by a five-member Board of Directors. The Authority serves approximately 1,400 homes and businesses in a 2.7 square mile area within the unincorporated communities of Pacific City and Woods. PCJWSA operates on a Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget of $9.2 million with 11 full-time employees, including the Authority Manager, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Operations Supervisor, three Operator IIIs, one Operator I, and three Operators-in-Training. Under the general direction of the Board of Directors, the Authority Manager is responsible for the water and sanitary services provided within PCJWSA’s service boundary, including related financial, administrative, operational, and technical management. The Authority Manager serves as PCJWSA’s primary administrative leader and public representative. The successful candidate will be a visible, accessible, and hands-on leader who maintains open and transparent communication with the Board, employees, customers, and community.
