UTILITY WORKER II
$5,256-$5,915 per month | Full-Time | City Benefits
The City of Garibaldi is accepting applications for a full-time Utility Worker II to join our Public Works Department. This is a hands-on position working across the City’s water, wastewater, streets, stormwater, and public infrastructure systems. We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual who enjoys varied work, operating equipment, solving problems, and serving the community.
| MINIMUM CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT
• Wastewater Treatment Grade III • Wastewater Collection Grade II • Water Treatment Level I • Water Distribution Level I Applicants must possess at least one of the certifications above. The successful candidate will be expected to continue working toward additional water or wastewater certifications applicable to assigned duties. |
CDL REQUIREMENT
A valid driver’s license is required. The employee must obtain an Oregon CDL within 12 months of employment, including a tanker endorsement and qualification to operate air-brake-equipped vehicles.
