2015 Calendar
OAWU offers specialized training in both water and wastewater. Training
is held throughout the state on topics such as treatment, regulations,
operations and maintenance, wellhead protection, operator certification
and management skills. This training, offered for free or at a low cost,
allows operators to upgrade their skills and improve the quality of the
services they provide. Members receive a discount off the already low
prices. Continuing Education Units are available to maintain operator
certification, CEUs are awarded at 0.1 CEU for every hour of
instruction.

Small
Water Systems (SWOTC) Certification
If your
ground water system is 150 connections or less
and is required to have a certified Small Groundwater
operator this is the OHA/DWS
required
course for initial certification or re-certification.

37th Annual Management & Technical Conference
March 2-6, 2015

OAWU's Annual Technical and
Management Conference is held each year in Sunriver, Oregon during the
first week of March. A full schedule of classes covering water,
wastewater, groundwater and management topics is offered. It is an
opportunity to view new technologies and equipment exhibited by vendors,
interact with the Board of Directors and staff of OAWU and share
experiences with other professionals in the industry. The association's
annual business meeting is held during the conference, and open
positions on the Board of Directors are elected.
