Clackamas River Water

PROJECT ENGINEER
Salary Range:  $91,458 – $120,353 – DOE,  Exempt, Represented

Clackamas River Water seeks a full-time Project Engineer. This position is responsible for providing intermediate to advanced-level project support to senior engineers in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the District’s capital improvement, capital outlay and private development projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Possess an Oregon Professional Engineer License
  • Four to eight (4-8) years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering project management for public works or water utility; or,
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required certification, knowledge, skills and abilities for this position.
  • Understand and apply principles and practices in: civil engineering – including design, planning theory; project management, capital construction and contracting,
  • Proficient in the use of GIS/CAD mapping software
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations and best practices that govern municipal water systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
