Lake Whatcom Water & Sewer District is seeking an experienced District Engineer/Engineering Manager for this well-managed organization headquartered in Bellingham, WA. Reporting to the General Manager, the District Engineer is responsible for managing and directing all engineering activities in the design and construction of District and developer-funded projects. This position supervises the Engineering Department staff comprised of the Construction Engineer (a PE) and Engineering Technician/Safety Officer. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, responsive, and dedicated; lead by example and adhere to high ethical standards; and have a public service-oriented mindset.
