Seeking a Public Works Superintendent to direct and manage the administration of departmental operations, including utility operation, maintenance and management , budget, administrative compliance, and management, supervision and performance of staff.
A minimum of four years progressively responsible supervisory experience in public works, or its equivalent.
Experience with the administration, management, and regulations governing public work areas, operations, and maintenance. Experience with the preparation, development, management, and oversight of significantly large budgets. Experience with preparing and reviewing construction plans and specifications. Experience in managing and supervising the work of Public Works staff. Experience in using a computer and a calculator. Experience with AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software.
Possession of an Oregon Water Treatment II, including a Filtration Endorsement, Water Distribution level I certification, Wastewater Treatment / Wastewater Collections level II certification. Cross Connection Specialist. Public Pesticide Applicator License preferred. Possession of a Workzone Traffic Control Card and Possession of a valid Oregon Driver’s License.
Salary range $49,318 – 63,798 per year DOQ; excellent benefit package including fully paid family insurance and PERS; full-time.
